Demolition at its best!

Over the past few weeks, as well as stripping tedious wallpaper, we have started removing the current gib boards, to save us a lot of hard work, and also cut back on costs in terms of the amount of plaster we would have needed to cover the stucco walls. Enjoy the demolition, and the handy work of our amazing plasterer, our brother-in-law, Tremaine! He is one legend, who does amazing work, and is also in the process of not only teaching me how to plaster, but his own kids are super keen to learn too :) ENJOY!!!

Pancake Bar and Renovation Party

A few weekends ago, we celebrated Anna's 25th by having a pancake bar and renovation morning at our new house. We had lots of fun with pancakes, stripping wallpaper, digging up yuccas, and spending time with some of our favourites. Thanks to all those who celebrated the day with us!

Week 1 Renovation

Highlights from our week 1 renovation - we enlisted the family to help this week, where we stripped wallpaper, lifted up carpet and lino as well as beginning to strip the stucco walls.
